Nestled in Western Australia’s south west region, in my favourite part of the world (Denmark), you’ll find Aiyana Retreat. A luxury accommodation experience designed to feel calm, immersive and connected to nature. As an architectural and interior photographer, my approach to documenting this unique retreat was centered on light, raw materials and mood. From the hand-crafted details to the way the bushland views frame each window, my goal was on documenting the thoughtful craftsmanship, warm interiors, and seamless connection between the indoor spaces and the surrounding forest.
As a south west accommodation photographer, I love places that feel connected to their natural surroundings. Aiyana Retreat was an especially beautiful project to photograph.
